On Jan. 21, 2008, the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle presented the sixth annual Craig Noel Awards for Excellence in Theatre, honoring the outstanding achievements on San Diego stages in 2007.

SPECIAL AWARDS:

  • Tribute to Floyd Gaffney, San Diego African-American theater innovator, who passed away in 2007.
  •  Jack O’Brien —- lifetime achievement award.
  • First Jack O’Brien Excellence in Directing award given to Esther Emery.
